Teal Energi is partnered with a company in the Central Texas area to hire a Construction Manager to lead field execution on a major AI infrastructure development that will deliver a large-scale, multi-building data center campus spanning thousands of acres with more than 500MW of planned power capacity.

We’re seeking a proven Construction Manager to play a hands‑on leadership role overseeing field execution, trade coordination, site logistics, sequencing, safety, and productivity across a complex, fast-paced construction environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a construction leader who thrives on large-scale, mission‑critical projects, enjoys coordinating multiple trades and work areas, and has the experience to identify challenges in the field and keep crews moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead field construction activities across multiple buildings and active work areas.
  • Coordinate superintendents, subcontractors, manpower, equipment, access, logistics, and trade sequencing.
  • Lead daily and weekly field planning meetings, look‑ahead planning, and coordination efforts.
  • Ensure work areas are ready and constraints are addressed before crews mobilize.
  • Coordinate interfaces between civil/concrete, structural steel, building systems, fire protection, electrical/I&C, and other trades.
  • Monitor manpower, production, quantities, schedule progress, and field constraints.
  • Identify potential delays and productivity issues and drive corrective or recovery actions.
  • Ensure construction is executed using current approved drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, work packages, and inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate cranes, lifts, deliveries, laydown areas, temporary facilities, and other site logistics.
  • Partner with HSSE and Quality teams to maintain strong safety, quality, inspection, and turnover performance.
  • Support constructability reviews, field verification, punch‑list management, system completion, and turnover activities.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 15+ years of progressive field construction experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Construction Manager, or similar field leadership role
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple trades and simultaneous work areas
  • Experience with large-scale industrial, commercial, mission‑critical, data center, energy, or similarly complex construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, constructability, and field productivity
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work packages
  • Experience coordinating structural steel, building envelope, interiors, HVAC, plumbing, openings, and building support systems
  • Strong subcontractor management, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • OSHA 30 required or ability to obtain prior to mobilization
  • Procore and/or Primavera P6 look‑ahead experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical/trade background preferred
The Opportunity:

This is a high-impact field leadership opportunity on a landmark AI infrastructure project with the scale and complexity of a true mission‑critical development.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable being in the field, making decisions, coordinating multiple stakeholders, solving problems in real time, and taking ownership of production, safety, and quality.
