HeatherDaniel International seeks six Senior Construction Managers to oversee ground-up and expansion capital delivery for a flagship data center campus in Amarillo, Texas. Lead Owner's Representative efforts, manage GC execution, drive safety, and ensure schedule adherence across complex high-voltage and MEP scopes.

Relocation assistance and per diem are available; candidates must have 8+ years of CM experience on large projects and be willing to relocate to Amarillo for full-time on-site work.

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking six (6) experienced Senior Construction Managers to oversee ground-up and expansion capital delivery for a flagship multi-billion-dollar mission-critical data center campus in Amarillo, Texas. Acting in an Owner's Representative capacity, you will direct field operations, ensure strict contract compliance, manage GC execution, and drive schedule and value controls across complex technical scopes (high-voltage electrical systems, chillers/MEP infrastructure, and shell builds).

Per diem allowance and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Owner's Representative Leadership: Drive day-to-day site operations, managing prime general contractors and trade partners to deliver mission-critical facilities on time and within target value parameters.
• Schedule & Critical Path Governance: Monitor project execution against Primavera P6 master baselines, analyzing look-ahead schedules, Time Impact Analyses (TIAs), and potential critical path bottlenecks.
• Change Management & Commercial Alignment: Review change orders, field variations, and applications for payment to challenge contractor pricing and protect project contingency funds.
• Technical & Quality Control Oversight: Coordinate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Commissioning (Cx) leads, and safety personnel to ensure seamless handover from shell build through energization and Integrated System Testing (IST).
• Executive Reporting: Maintain continuous communication with program directors, delivering key performance indicators, cash flow updates, and schedule risk assessments.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience: 8+ years of construction management experience leading large-scale capital projects ($100M+). Prior experience on hyperscale or enterprise data center developments preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in civil/structural shell builds or heavy MEP/Commissioning integration for mission-critical facilities.
• Commercial Rigor: Proven ability to manage trade contracts, evaluate contractor claims, and enforce quality control standards.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. PMP or CCM credentials are a plus.
• Mobility: Must be based in or willing to relocate/commute to Amarillo, Texas for full-time on-site project execution.

Compensation & Benefits Package

• Base Salary Range: Highly competitive, commensurate with experience ($160,000 – $190,000+ base).
