Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Construction Specialist to perform field quality audits on Coax and Fiber networks and oversee contractor work to ensure standards are met.

The role requires hands-on field experience, ability to read design prints, strong communication, and willingness to travel to multiple job sites, with some overnight stays. You will use Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Teams, and P2 to document and track progress.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform 80% field-based construction quality audits on Coax and Fiber networks.
• Inspect nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, enclosures, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor overhead and underground construction and ensure work meets standards.
• Review contractor work, identify deficiencies, and verify rework is completed on time.
• Update JT/Polaris job documentation and maps for path verification.
• Serve as the day-to-day field liaison between contractors and Regional Network Technicians.
• Maintain construction records, audit documentation, and reports.
• Use Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Teams, and P2 for daily tracking and documentation.
• Participate in Teams calls and communicate with business partners as needed.
• Travel to assigned job sites; some locations may require overnight hotel stays.
• Provide phone support Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for troubleshooting and job clearance.
