Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in New Jersey is seeking a Construction Manager for a 6-month contract to lead construction from groundbreaking through mechanical fit-out on a major pharmaceutical project.

You will drive safety culture, manage stage-gate controls, and coordinate with field teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality across all buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction works for foundation and shell of buildings.
• Hands-on attitude with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to sequence critical activities for the construction phase.
• Capital project experience; pharma knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Construction Tools and Methodologies.

Construction Manager - US, New Jersey - 6 Month Contract

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made. We’re supporting a major new-build facility in New Jersey, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Construction Manager to join the team and help deliver this world‑class program.

What you’ll do

Be responsible for leading the construction from breaking ground up to Mechanical fit out. This scope of work is for a minimum of 2 years across all buildings. Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the field execution of project deliverables and that appropriate stage‑gate controls are in place for all works. Attend field walk‑downs as client CM Representative to ensure that appropriate standards are being met with installations. Drive initiatives such as Quality Audit Metrics, Right First Time. For construction acts as an interface with site stakeholders to address and resolve any issues in the interfaces with site and also with any external to‑site stakeholders.

What you’ll need

Proven level of experience in delivering Construction works for foundation works and the shell of the building. Hands‑on attitude and demonstrated ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Ability to sequence critical activities in planning work for the construction phase. Relevant experience in capital projects preferably delivering process‑related buildings. Pharma a great advantage. Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working with Lean Construction Tools and Methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in projects.
