Job summary

TYLin’s Indianapolis PMCM team is seeking a Construction Manager to lead Lead Service Line Replacement and various water and wastewater distribution/underground projects. You will inspect watermain and lead service line replacements, oversee sewer and manhole lining projects, and coordinate with inspectors for field QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management/engineering with field experience or equivalent.
• 8–10+ years of water/wastewater consulting or construction experience.
• Experience using GSP equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in project management and contract administration.
• Coordinate with inspectors for field reviews, data collection, and QA/QC.
• Observe, inspect, and document underground utility construction as Owner’s representative.
• Ensure compliance with design plans, permit requirements, and specifications.
• Document contractor progress, manage quantity records, process payments, and certify completion.

Water projects will include inspecting watermain replacements and lead service line replacements. The wastewater projects involve sewer and manhole lining projects.Responsibilities & QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES· Support the Project Manager in project management and contract administration· Coordinate with multiple inspectors for field reviews, data collection and QA/QC· Observation, inspection, and documentation of underground utility construction as an Owner’s representative· Ensure compliance with design plans and specifications and permit requirements· Document contractor progress, maintain accurate quantity records, process payment requests, generate punch lists, and certify completion status· Create and track work orders for each projectREQUIREMENTS· Bachelor’s degree in construction management/engineering with construction related field experience OR equivalent in field experience.· 8-10+ years of experience in water/wastewater consulting or construction performing construction services for municipal, state, or private clients.· Experience using GSP equipment.· Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.· Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.· High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.· Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellenceAdditional Information#LI-OnsiteTYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
