Job summary

THS National LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate multifamily renovation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and contract compliance. You will develop client and subcontractor relationships and oversee the project from planning through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of construction PM experience, multifamily project exposure, and proficiency with MS Project or Procore.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Construction PM experience.
  • Previous multifamily project experience.
  • Experience managing Submittals & Commitments and the associated schedules.
  • Strong Project Management software experience (MS Project, Procore, etc.)
  • Valid state-issued driver\'s license and good driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project-specific and client-driven expectations, schedules, budgets, strategy and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and/or managing goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain rapport with client representatives and ensure scopes of project and outside business forces affecting the project are fully understood and that specific deliverables are understood with performance standards.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users and deliver all appropriate documentation.
  • Guide the client and team through the construction process from planning, execution, construction documentation, customer sign-off and project close out.
  • Prepare Subcontract Agreements and Purchase Orders and manage contractor, vendor selection while keeping the project within the budget.
  • Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination with internal staff, stakeholders and external users to ensure clear communication.
  • Oversee and supervise construction progress and provide reports on timeline, progress and adjustments.
  • Act as the primary contact with the client throughout the duration of the project.
  • Develop and maintain a Master Project Schedule and manage execution so that completion falls within time-frames.
