Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Construction Management Representative to support the Pinnacles National Park project in Paicines, CA. You will aid the National Park Service with quality assurance, oversee construction activities, review contractor documentation, and support COR throughout construction.

The role requires on-site presence in California, with a focus on safety, compliance, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related certification.
• Minimum five years of construction management experience.
• Experience with on-site quality control in three phases.
• Experience with roadwork demolition, sitework, drainage, paving, and structures.
• Experience developing and reviewing estimates and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document construction meetings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, schedules, payrolls, and payment requests.
• Prepare cost estimates and support construction modification negotiations.
• Perform daily construction observation and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Monitor safety, workmanship, and compliance with construction documents.
• Maintain photographic records and deficiency tracking.
• Coordinate asphalt testing, structural tests, and inspections.
• Provide and manage cloud-based project management software.
• Support construction closeout and delivery of final project records.
• Assist the National Park Service with QA and oversight.
• Verify the contractor's Quality Control Plan is functioning properly.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the COR.
