Job summary

Project Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Management Representative to support a National Park Service project in Washington, DC.

The role covers fire suppression and alarm system installation at the USPP Aviation Building in Anacostia Park, with work including sprinkler systems, water distribution, and safety compliance updates. Ideal candidates have 4+ year degrees in engineering/construction, 5+ years CM/engineering experience, and knowledge of NFPA and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant construction/engineering work experience in CM roles.
• Direct experience with fire protection or alarm systems preferred.
• Familiarity with water distribution and piping systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NPS and building code standards.
• Strong communication and reporting; coordination with A/E and NPS staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Read, interpret and understand project plans and specs.
• Attend and facilitate meetings, including site meetings.
• Document issues with the contractor and track progress.
• Review schedules, RFIs, and draft responses.
• Inspect work for compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Deliver reports, design work and cost evaluations to CO.
