Job summary

GOTAFE in Florida seeks an undergraduate intern to support construction management activities. You will assist with scheduling, budgeting, and supervision on active jobs, while helping enforce safety and policy compliance.

You will gain hands-on experience across construction disciplines and may participate in related internships throughout the year. Strong MS Office skills and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
• Prior construction-related internships or work experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work flexible hours with the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager and Superintendents with scheduling and supervision of job sites.
• Help ensure on-site safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Learn to estimate costs, solicit bids, and create schedules.
• Explore areas within the division to understand general operations beyond the assigned department.
• Provide basic administrative support and assist supervisors on special projects.
• Conduct business professionally to serve customers and support company goodwill.
