GOTAFE in Tampa, FL is seeking an intern to support field engineers, project managers, or field superintendents. You will apply Trimble knowledge to assist with project layout and interpretation of drawings, while gaining hands-on field experience.

This internship emphasizes teamwork, safety, and learning in a fast-paced environment; you will participate in material take offs, coordinating design changes, and supporting project coordination on a specific project.

• Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and take on challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Engineer, Project Manager, or Field Superintendent as needed.
• Apply Trimble knowledge to assist with project layout.
• Interpret engineering drawings and assist in the field.
• Assist in material take offs and estimating.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Assist with project coordination and safety initiatives.
• Work on a specific project based on business needs.
