Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a driven Construction Management Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Life Sciences team.

You will support Project Managers on construction and sustainability initiatives, with exposure to site inspections, drawing reviews, and data analysis tools. The internship provides hands-on experience in stormwater management, construction means and methods, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or another closely related field.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in all aspects of the project; help find alternative strategies and utilize data analysis solutions to support service excellence.
• Participate in erosion and sediment control inspections and sustainable material audits to maintain adherence to stormwater management requirements.
• Collaborate on multiple construction-focused tasks to help meet project timeline and budget.
