Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a driven Construction Management Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Life Sciences team.
You will support Project Managers on construction and sustainability initiatives, with exposure to site inspections, drawing reviews, and data analysis tools. The internship provides hands-on experience in stormwater management, construction means and methods, and collaboration across disciplines.

Your impact
We are looking for a driven and curious, client-focused Construction Management intern with an interest in Construction Management and Sustainability to join our Life Sciences team based out of Cary, NC. This role may require occasional travel to various project sites throughout the Greater Raleigh, NC area.

Working within one of our Construction teams, you could join us in one of many different Construction focused roles—Site Engineer, Environmental Site Controls, Sustainability Tracking and Reporting, to name a few. You will support Project Managers in all aspects of the project; help find alternative strategies and utilize advanced technologies and data analysis solutions to support service excellence. We’ll guide you through the beginning of your construction management career as you hone your skills in meeting project requirements regarding timeline and budget. You will collaborate on erosion and sediment control inspections and sustainable material audits which help maintain adherence to our stormwater management requirements and sustainability goals towards successful project delivery.

The base salary range for this position is $47,300.00 to $56,700.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
