Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an aspiring Construction Management Field Engineer to join our Capital Projects & Engineering team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This program targets students graduating by May 2027 and aims to develop their technical and leadership skills through large capital projects and safety initiatives.

As a member of the GP Project & Engineering team, you will travel up to 50% and collaborate with directors, PMs, and COEs to plan and execute construction strategies, schedules, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction-management/engineering experience in heavy manufacturing.
Experience validating and reviewing estimates and schedules.
Experience working on construction projects from start to finish.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Eligible for full-time employment in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Review scope of work and construction for each project.
Build relationships with partners to ensure mutual benefit.
Participate in constructability reviews and design of upcoming projects.
Ensure OSHA and safety compliance and conduct safety meetings.
Coordinate strategy with project teams to select contracts and approaches.
