Job summary

Quanta Services is seeking a Construction Management Assistant in Beaumont, TX 77705. You will support project teams by helping maintain crew, equipment, and material schedules, gather status updates, and prepare progress reports under the supervision of superintendents and project managers.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to how utility construction projects are planned, tracked, and delivered, with emphasis on organization, safety, and clear communication with field leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or technical program in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or a recent graduate).
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple schedules and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working with field leadership such as superintendents and foremen.

Responsibilities

• Work with superintendents to build, update, and maintain crew, equipment, and material schedules.
• Gather daily and weekly job status updates from superintendents and foremen and enter them into project tracking tools.
• Prepare progress reports covering work completed, upcoming activities, delays, and safety items for project managers and leadership.
• Maintain project files, daily reports, drawings, and field documentation.
• Follow up with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to confirm deliveries and start dates.
• Support meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, and tracking action items.
• Visit job sites as directed to observe work, learn processes, and verify progress, following all safety rules.
• Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
