Job summary

Quanta-Services seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager in coordinating engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction activities across development and execution phases. You will assist with scheduling, RFI submittals, and monthly reviews while contributing to safety, quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation and solving skills.
• Understanding of the EPC process and construction means.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during the development and execution phase(s) of the project.
• Assists PM in the development of the initial project schedule with cross-functional teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Works with procurement to develop subcontractor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Works with Safety personnel on project safety plans and incident investigations.
• Assists the PM with project schedule and monthly project review reports and financial closeouts.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of all deliverables.
