Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Project Logistics Coordinator to plan, organize, and oversee the movement of materials and equipment for construction projects. You will ensure timely delivery, safety compliance, and coordination between vendors, subcontractors, and site teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning logistics, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining shipment records, with a focus on cost control and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in construction logistics or project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and material handling.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain delivery schedules for materials and equipment.
• Coordinate transportation and storage of construction materials.
• Anticipate delays and implement contingency plans.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Negotiate shipping terms and manage freight logistics.
• Work with site supervisors to align deliveries with project timelines.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials on-site.
• Maintain records of shipments, permits, and delivery receipts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes.
• Monitor logistics expenses and assist in cost optimization.
