Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the U.S. Rebuild team in Burnsville, NC. You will procure materials, coordinate deliveries, and support project operations with a focus on safety and on-time completion.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience; a Class A CDL and DOT medical card are preferred and may be obtained after hire. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain a Class A CDL and a valid DOT Medical card upon hiring.

Responsibilities

Procure materials, supplies, and equipment for the Rebuild site.
Assist with material delivery to the project site and with check-in/check-out of tools.
Liaise with local suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors and communicate work orders to the Project Superintendent.
Coordinate material needs with Construction Foremen, Workers, and the Project Superintendent.
Perform safety inspections of fleet vehicles and job sites as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our U.S. Rebuild team in Burnsville, NC.

Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Logistics Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Procure materials, supplies, and equipment for the Rebuild site
Assist with material delivery to the project site and with check-in and check-out of tools/equipment
Liaise with local building suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Identify work orders and communicate those to the Project Superintendent
Coordinate material needs with Construction Foremen, Construction Workers, and the Project Superintendent
Perform safety inspections of fleet vehicles and job sites as needed.
Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
