Job summary

Kubicki Draper in West Palm Beach seeks a Legal Assistant with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to support a growing team in the office. Insurance defense background is a plus; construction litigation experience preferred.

This role operates in-person, with daily attendance and calendar management responsibilities. You will work with multiple attorneys, draft standard letters and pleadings, and navigate Florida court procedures, e-service, and e-filing.

Qualifications

• Civil Litigation and/or Insurance Defense experience.
• Experience managing attorney calendars/scheduling, and drafting legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings and reports.
• Working knowledge of Florida court procedures and familiarity with e-service and e-filing.

Responsibilities

• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Outlook and other document management systems.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills, manage deadlines, ability to follow up on items and be detail oriented.
• Ability to support multiple attorneys and working with a large team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment as part of a team.
