Job summary

Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP pursues a Construction Attorney to handle litigation matters across its statewide practice. You will manage discovery, research, motions, depositions, and trial preparation with a trial-ready approach, while maintaining strong client relations.

The role requires a JD from an accredited school and active Florida Bar status, with 3+ years in construction law; trial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing construction law.
• Experience conducting depositions preferred.
• Experience in the courtroom, including arguing motions, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages cases involving Construction matters statewide.
• Conducts and defends depositions, including retained and opposing experts.
• Drafts and argues dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Prepares litigation strategy and manages a high volume of files with deadlines.
• Maintains client relationships and expands the book of business.
