Hankin Palladino Weintrob Bell & Labov seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–7 years of practice in the southern New Jersey area to join our construction law, commercial litigation, and transactional teams. Immediate start for admitted attorneys; not open to students or bar-result waiters.

Ideal candidates have strong research and writing skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to communicate with clients, courts, and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Must have JD and be admitted or eligible to waive into New Jersey.
• 3–7 years of attorney practice experience.
• No prior construction law experience required.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
• Strong writing and research skills essential for appellate briefs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and take meaningful responsibility on matters.
• Appear before courts and government agencies.
• Draft and review construction contracts and subcontracts.
• Prepare bid protest letters for government projects.
• Draft appellate briefs in public contracting disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions and other documents.
• Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff.
