Job summary

HirefinderRPO in Houston is seeking an attorney to own a construction and commercial docket, handling intake through resolution on complex disputes with contractors, property owners, and businesses. You will drive strategy, advise clients, and collaborate with a growing Texas practice.

You will draft pleadings, take depositions, and manage discovery, motions, and settlements while maintaining client relationships and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license and in good standing.
• At least 1 year of post-licensure litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, discovery, and motion practice skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and communicate with clients.
• Construction law experience preferred; other civil backgrounds encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of approximately 40–60 litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and settlement proposals.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Advise clients on construction disputes, contract issues, risk management, and litigation strategy.
• Develop practical, results-oriented solutions for contractors, subcontractors, businesses, and property owners.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys courtroom advocacy, strategic case management, client counseling, and working directly with contractors, businesses, and property owners in high-stakes disputes.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
