Jobot is seeking a dynamic Construction Attorney to join our growing legal team in a permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will handle complex construction disputes, defects, and risk management with strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, admission to the Texas State Bar, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in construction law. Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction laws is essential.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar is required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a construction attorney or in a similar role.
• Proven experience with construction disputes and defects.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local construction laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on construction matters including contract disputes, defects, and risk management.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in construction litigation.
• Negotiate settlements of civil disputes in favor of construction clients.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems related to construction cases.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses in the construction industry.
