Jobot seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Construction Litigation to join our Dallas team. You will handle all aspects of construction disputes, from client intake to settlement or trial, with an emphasis on insurance defense.

Requirements include a JD, Texas bar admission, at least 2 years in construction litigation, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to manage a busy docket independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Texas bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years in construction litigation with emphasis on insurance defense.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of construction litigation matters from intake to disposition.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with a team to develop effective defense strategies and stay updated on construction law and insurance defense.
