Job summary

Jobot seeks a Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Construction Litigation to join our team in the Dallas area. You will handle all aspects of construction disputes, from client intake to settlement or trial, with emphasis on insurance defense.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state with a clean disciplinary record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation, with emphasis on Insurance Defense.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills; ability to draft clear, concise filings.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; maintain client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and case management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse case load of construction litigation matters with deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and settlements.
• Represent clients in court, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel; maintain professionalism.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop defense strategies.
• Stay updated on construction law and insurance defense developments.
