Australia-Employment is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Denver Construction Litigation team. This lateral role offers exposure to complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced colleagues handling construction and insurance defense matters.

The position features a hybrid schedule, a permanent full-time role, and a salary range of $130,000 to $170,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and a structured mentorship program.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar license (or ability to waive in).
• 3–10 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for construction, general liability, or insurance defense.
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment.
