Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Florida; licensure in southeastern states a plus.
• Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in construction law and complex commercial litigation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction litigation, including bid disputes, construction defect claims, surety matters, and commercial contract disputes.
• Assist clients in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings, including mediation and arbitration.
• Provide guidance on construction project planning, contract negotiation, risk management, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to construction projects.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and advocate for clients in court or ADR settings.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates on case developments.
