Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to support its national practice from its San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles offices. Candidates should have 3–5 years of construction law or equivalent experience, strong litigation background, and excellent communication skills.

The group’s core practice areas are counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. To be considered, candidates must have 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience. Successful candidates will have experience litigating all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims. Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements is beneficial, as the position will also include transactional work. Excellent academic credentials, strong references, and superb written and oral communication skills are required.
