Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles to support its nationally recognized construction practice. The role requires 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience and CA Bar membership.

Expect litigation of delay, disruption, mechanic's lien, bond, and stop notice claims, plus transactional drafting. Superb written and oral communication, strong references, and top academic credentials are required;

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience.
  • Experience litigating all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims.
  • Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements is beneficial, as the position will also include transactional work.
  • CA Bar membership is required.

One of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in our San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles offices to support its nationally recognized construction law practice. The group’s core practice areas are counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. To be considered, candidates must have 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience. Successful candidates will have experience litigating all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims. Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements is beneficial, as the position will also include transactional work. Excellent academic credentials, strong references, and superb written and oral communication skills are required. Benefits and Compensation

More information regarding benefits and programs may be found here. California compensation range: $260,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
