• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in construction litigation, insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability, or related litigation practices preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing construction litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in construction defect claims, contractor-owner disputes, professional liability matters, construction accident litigation, and property damage claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Assist with case strategy, fact development, and expert witness coordination.
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and trial materials.
• Work directly with clients and construction industry professionals to develop practical and effective litigation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

A highly respected regional law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its growing Construction Practice in Cleveland.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their experience in sophisticated construction litigation while working alongside experienced trial attorneys and industry leaders. The practice represents contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, developers, owners, and insurers in a broad range of construction-related disputes throughout Ohio and beyond.
