Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Construction Technology Manager to lead the new nationwide construction layout function. You will own how layouts are positioned in the field, establish standards, and drive QA/QC across a portfolio of projects.

The role requires heavy travel (60–75%), leadership of a distributed team, and direct supervision of field engineers and technicians. Responsibilities include coordinating BIM/VDC with field execution, maintaining coordinate systems, and driving safety and compliance

Qualifications

8+ years in construction layout, field engineering, or surveying with 3+ years leading layout personnel.
Experience operating robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS in active construction environments.
Strong ability to manage construction control networks, datums, and coordinate systems.

Responsibilities

Own the layout function company-wide: procedures, accuracy standards, tolerances, deliverables, and documentation.
Lead, schedule, and develop a distributed team across regions; forecast labor and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Direct field layout execution on high-risk/project sites; verify models to ground truth and perform as-built validation.
