Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Construction Layout Specialist to manage surveying layout and as-built reality capture on mission-critical water and municipal projects. You will perform field layout, control points, and oversee QA/QC of subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

You will read contract documents and design models, coordinate with the VDC/BIM team to meet project goals, and conduct field data transfers daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of construction-related experience.
• Experience with layout and as-built reality capture.
• Ability to read contract documents and models.

Responsibilities

• Establishes control points and benchmarks for projects.
• Performs field layout and as-built tasks using surveying tools.
• Reads contract documents and construction models.
• Coordinates with VDC/BIM and field management teams.
• Adheres to Best Practices in surveying and reality capture.
• Travel to project sites as required.
