Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Construction Layout Specialist to lead survey layout execution and as-built reality capture on mission-critical projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment, applying traditional surveying methods and modern VDC tools to support field teams.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, coordination with the VDC/BIM groups, and accurate field data transfer. A minimum of two years in construction surveying is required, with hands-on experience using total stations and layout equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of construction related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School/GED required.
• Experience with field survey data collection, layout, and QA/QC of field work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee establishment and implementation of job-related control points and benchmarks.
• Identify and resolve field issues and discrepancies, including equipment and data issues.
• Execute all layout or as-built tasks, including pre-planning ahead of scheduled activities.
• Interpret contract documents and construction models to perform tasks.
• Coordinate with VDC resources and project teams to resolve issues and transfer field data.
