Job description

This position is not suitable for applicants with only welding experience. There are no welding duties in this position. The position is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks
• General concrete repair (demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, finishing)
• Operating power‑tools (e.g. rotary hammers, chipping hammers, hammer drills, etc.)
• Post‑tension repair
• Rebar/post‑tension installation and stressing
• Independently traveling between projects

Qualifications

• Focused on safety and comfort with standard PPE at construction sites
• Team and solution oriented with a proactive, professional, positive attitude
• Experienced construction field technicians/laborers
• Advantageous if familiar with concrete repair, formwork and finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar
• Advantageous if familiar with installation and/or stressing of post‑tensioning systems
• Familiarity with new construction and existing buildings
• Comfortable with working at heights
• Ability to read and speak English
• Ability to lift material up to 50lbs
• Good hand‑eye coordination and capable of standing for extended periods
• Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week
• Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth
• Prior experience in post‑tensioning is ideal but not required
• Hardworking, reliable, and ready to learn at a fast pace
• Preference for bilingual Spanish/English candidates
• Preference for union ironworkers/rodbusters able to work union or open‑shop projects

Additional Requirements

• Must provide own transportation
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass DMV background screening
• Pre‑employment drug screen required

• Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
