This position is not suitable for applicants with only welding experience. There are no welding duties in this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Working alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks
• General concrete repair (demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, finishing)
• Operating power-tools (i.e rotary hammers, chipping hammers, hammer drills, etc.)
• Post-tension repair
• Rebar/post-tension installation and stressing
• Independently traveling between projects

Qualifications

• Focused on safety in all situations and environments
• Comfortable with the use of standard PPE at construction sites
• Team and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude
• Experienced construction field technicians/laborers
• Advantageous if familiar with concrete repair, formwork and finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar
• Advantageous if familiar with the installation and/or stressing of post-tensioning systems
• Familiarity with new construction and existing buildings
• Comfort with working at heights
• The ability to read and speak English
• The ability to lift material up to 50lbs
• Good hand-eye coordination & capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week
• Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth

Prior experience in post-tensioning is ideal but not required. An ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and ready to learn at a fast pace.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English may be given preference.

Candidates who are union ironworkers/rodbusters with the ability to work union or open-shop projects may be given preference.
