B & B Agri Sales in Fountain City, WI is hiring a Farm Equipment Mechanic to perform seasonal servicing, winterization, and basic repairs on tractors and other farm equipment. You will prep machines for storage, move gear to correct sites, and maintain a tidy parts room under normal shop conditions. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with daytime hours from 8:00 A.M.

to 5:00 P.M. No CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds; exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Biosecurity and health and safety guidelines must be followed.

Job Duties

• Perform off-season equipment servicing and winterization. Inspect, service, and repair tractors, combines, sprayers, spreaders, and farm vehicles – replacing worn components such as belts, hoses, filters, bearings, and hydraulic parts.
• Winterize equipment for storage and prepare it for the upcoming season.
• Move and reposition equipment to its storage locations.
• Clean, organize, and restock the parts room, putting parts in their proper places.
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the shop and work areas.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Perform general mechanical work; no internal engine overhauls required.
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude.
• No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
