Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Rochester, MN is seeking a Laborer to assist Carpenters, Operators and Masons by moving and installing materials on job sites while supporting safe, efficient operations.

You'll work in an Incident and Injury Free culture, prep sites, assist with formwork and concrete, operate light equipment, and help maintain a clean, organized work site while supporting a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards; dig, level dirt and gravel.
• Supply tools and materials to areas as directed; plan ahead and load/unload supplies.
• Operate pallet jack, saws, bobcat and forklift; assist with material movement.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work site daily; assist with formwork and pouring concrete.
• Erect/dismantle scaffolding; work at heights and assist carpenters and trades.
• Inspect work-in-progress for conformance to specs and quality standards.
• Demonstrate integrity, teamwork and proactive problem solving.
