Job summary

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Laborer to join our South Texas team. You will perform a variety of manual tasks on roofs, scaffolds and construction sites, helping move materials and keep the site safe and organized.

The role is full-time with longer and weekend hours as needed. Commercial construction site experience is preferred and candidates must pass pre-hire screenings. Travel between jobsites may be required.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction site experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-hire screenings.

Responsibilities

• Work on roofs, multi-level structures, scaffolds and ladders.
• Shovel dirt and rubble.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure equipment daily.
• Perform material handling and storage.
• Load and unload trucks, manually haul and/or hoist materials.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to foreman, superintendent or safety manager.
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction projects.
• Perform manual work in preparing surfaces.
