DeLoa & Sons Construction is hiring a dependable Construction Laborer to join our team. We are a local, family-owned general contractor serving the Omaha metro area, specializing in residential and commercial remodeling, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and a variety of other construction projects.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or remodeling experience preferred.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Willingness to learn multiple areas of construction.
• Ability to follow direction and work alongside a Lead Carpenter.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical duties of construction work.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Papillion shop.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Lead Carpenter with daily jobsite tasks.
• Demolition and jobsite preparation.
• Assisting with framing and general carpentry.
• Assisting with trim and finish work.
• Window and door installation.
• Siding.
• Deck construction.
• Tile and other remodeling work.
• Loading, unloading, and moving tools and materials.
• Setting up and cleaning up jobsites.
• Maintaining an organized and professional work area.
• Learning proper use of construction tools and equipment; following instructions and completing assigned tasks.
• Helping the crew keep projects moving efficiently.

You’ll work alongside an experienced Lead Carpenter and assist with a variety of remodeling and construction tasks. Because our projects vary, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in multiple areas of the trade.

• $18–$23/hour, based on experience and skill level

• Typically 40 hours per week
• Primarily Monday–Friday
• Weekend work is rare and planned in advance
• Overtime is occasionally available but is not the norm

What You’ll Do

As a Construction Laborer, you’ll work alongside a Lead Carpenter and assist with day-to-day work on a variety of remodeling and construction projects.

Our remodeling projects vary, so no two jobs are exactly the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work on and learn multiple areas of construction rather than performing the same task every day.
