You will read safety guidelines, follow instructions, and communicate with teammates. The position requires being on your feet for long periods, willingness to learn welding if no prior experience, and ability to travel regionally with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction helpful but not required.
• Welding experience is a plus; if none, willingness to learn the welding trade.
• Job requires being on your feet for extended periods and performing strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to travel to construction sites within the region (NY, PA, NJ, WV, TN, MI, VA, MA) with overnight stays up to 75% of the time.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Use tools such as hammers, wrenches, shovels, pry bars and chainsaws.
• Traverse uneven terrain with varying elevation differences.
• Work near heavy construction equipment and large material objects.
• Work in enclosed spaces, cylindrical casings and excavation pits.
• Read labels, safety warnings and guidelines.
• Be attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
• Receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
• Work overtime, night shifts and weekends as business conditions require.
