Job summary

ERRG is seeking a construction laborer to perform tasks at buildings, earthwork sites, and demolition zones. You may operate hand and power tools, assist craft workers, and support set-ups and break downs of project sites.

Candidates should meet basic physical requirements and be able to travel to project sites as needed. Washington wage range is posted; eligible roles may include competitive compensation and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• One year of industry-related experience.
• Ability to operate construction tools.
• Basic math and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Must have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to project sites, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction to perform work activities.
• Clean and prepare construction sites.
• Control traffic near work zones.
• Signal equipment operators to coordinate movement of machinery and materials.
• Dig trenches, backfill, and level earth using basic tools.
• Position, join, align, and seal structural components as needed.
• Load, unload, and distribute building materials per project plans.
• Maintain tidy work areas and assist other craft workers.
