Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on a Chester, VA project. This full-time position involves cleaning and preparing the site, assisting the safety team and carpenters, and moving materials as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of construction experience, understands safety basics, can lift 50 lb and work outdoors, with the ability to stand/walk for long periods and operate under the supervision of field leadership.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience is required.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Able to provide primary support to field supervision.
• Ability to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand or walk long periods and handle/position materials up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work in OSHA-compliant environment and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the worksite.
