Job summary

Amrize is seeking a General Laborer for our Chelmsford, MA project site to support plant operations and maintain safe, organized work areas. The role requires physical tasks, operating basic equipment, and adhering to PPE protocols.

You'll work daily with skilled trades, perform site prep and cleanup, and help move materials and tools as directed by foremen. Dependability and safety awareness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Daily travel required.
• Strong listening skills and ability to follow directions.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with flexible hours or overtime.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lifting, carrying, digging, loading, and unloading materials.
• Support skilled tradespeople.
• Prepare job sites, clear debris, sweep, and set up or dismantle work areas.
• Use shovels, drills, saws under supervision to complete tasks safely.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Move and store construction materials as directed by supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
