Job summary

Amrize is seeking a General Laborer to support construction operations at the Chelmsford Asphalt plant in Chelmsford, MA. The role focuses on grounds maintenance, cleanups, and equipment operation to assist plant teams.

Responsibilities include lifting, loading, and basic maintenance while adhering to PPE and safety guidelines. Daily travel to worksites is required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Capable of performing physically demanding labor.
• Daily travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of physical tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, loading, and unloading materials.
• Support Skilled Tradespeople
• Clean and Prepare Job Sites, Clear debris, sweep, and set up or dismantle work areas to maintain a safe and organized job site.
• Use shovels, drills, saws, and other tools under supervision to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to workplace safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Load and Unload Materials and Equipment
• Move and store construction materials, supplies, or machinery as directed by supervisors or foremen.
• Perform Other Duties as Assigned
