Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Laborer to join our team to carry out general maintenance work at our facilities. This role reports directly to the Production Manager and supports quarry, crushing, screening, washing and other yard operations.

You will perform varied manual tasks, handle materials and tools, operate vehicles as required, and help maintain a safe, efficient worksite in outdoor environments year round. A High School Diploma and skid steer experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Skid steer experience is ideal.
• Must be semi-skilled, enthusiastic, and able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate product problems and information.
• Perform several types of manual work.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate automotive vehicles when required.
• Shovel spillage around conveyors.
• Monitor and restock office supplies; assist with other administrative tasks as required.
• Support daily quarry, crushing, screening, washing and aggregate yard operations.
• Assist equipment operators and maintenance personnel.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
