Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer for our Mooresville, IN project. This full-time position supports the Operations team with duties including cleaning the worksite, moving materials, and assisting carpenters and the safety team.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of construction experience, can lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work outdoors. Holder Construction offers competitive pay and benefits as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.
