Scotty’s Contracting and Stone is seeking a Construction Laborer to join our Heavy Civil Division. This position supports the successful completion of heavy highway, industrial, and commercial sitework projects.

The role requires performing a variety of physical duties on active construction sites to support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working effectively in a team environment under varying weather and

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing similar responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general heavy civil construction labor duties.
• Direct and control traffic through zones using signs, signals and devices.
• Communicate clearly with crew, equipment operators and the public to ensure safety.
• Monitor traffic and work zone conditions for a safe environment.
• Assist with safe entry and exit of construction vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Report hazards to foreman promptly.
