Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an entry-level Construction Laborer in Sioux Falls, SD. You will strip and clean concrete forms, prepare steel molds, and perform basic carpentry to support precast concrete production shipped nationwide. This on-site role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, two weeks of PTO/sick leave, and a 5% 401(k) match.

Expect Monday–Friday hours, with potential for overtime and multiple shifts. Safety and teamwork are prioritized.

Construction Laborer- Entry Level- Weekly Pay

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $21-$24/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday

Join our team to produce high-quality precast concrete products, including concrete box culverts for water and sanitary use, as well as railroad crossing products. Our products are shipped nationwide from Sioux Falls, and we are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Strip and clean concrete forms and products.

• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete.

• Perform basic carpentry skills.

• Maintain facility and uphold housekeeping standards.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient use of hand and power tools.

• Familiarity with concrete construction processes.

• Ability to effectively use a tape measure.

• Understanding of basic math and measurements.

• Ability to read and write simple instructions.

• Effective communication skills with team members.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Work Environment:

Work in a dynamic environment with two shifts available. We are hiring for the later shift, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30/6 PM, Monday to Friday. Hours may vary due to weather and production schedules, with occasional Saturday shifts given a week's notice. Enjoy year-round work without layoffs and no required Sunday shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
