Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant field experience preferred.
• Must possess working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with management.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions from superintendents, foremen and senior crew.
• Maintain a safe first focus in all duties.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Read and understand warning signs and operating instructions; follow jobsite safety rules.
• Observe equipment functions to identify hazards.
