Job summary

Garney is seeking a Laborer in Texas to support the crew with daily tasks and a range of equipment, including concrete vibrators, saws, jackhammers, and trenchers. The role requires standing all day and precise use of basic tools like tape measures and hammers.

Candidates must be willing to complete OSHA 10 and Fall Protection Certification provided by Garney, be able to work overtime, and have reliable transportation to job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to complete “Fall Protection Certification” (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with daily tasks using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Operate pneumatic and electrical tools such as vibrators, compactors, saws, jackhammers, and trenchers.
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other material using hand tools.
