Penhall Company is seeking a Construction Laborer to support field operations through general construction, concrete removal, and interior demolition. This role involves operating basic power tools, driving company trucks, and assisting equipment operators, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, physically capable, and able to work in demanding environments, following job tickets and safety plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction or demolition preferred.
• Experience with jackhammers, demolition tools, and light power equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist saw operators with cutting tasks and remove concrete and asphalt using tools such as burke bars, jackhammers, or two-wheel dollies.
• Perform demolition work, including removing drywall, metal/wood stud walls, drop ceilings, pipes, and conduit.
• Work with crews or independently to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Accurately read and interpret job tickets, safety plans, and complete daily job safety pre-task plans.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with dispatch and supervisors regarding job progress and needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and care for tools and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and OSHA standards.
• Travel as needed for out-of-town assignments on occasion.
